How is this different from the BMI Calculator?
The BMI Calculator tells you where your specific current weight falls. This works the other direction — given just your height, it shows the entire range of weights that would land in the healthy BMI band.
Why is the range so wide?
Because BMI itself is a fairly broad screening tool — the same height can carry a wide range of healthy weights depending on frame size, muscle mass, and individual build. The range reflects that built-in flexibility.
